Course Description

Learn how and why to effectively integrate the Alcat Test into your practice!

In this presentation, Jamie Wright, MD, integrative physician based in Colorado, shares his expertise with regard to the clinical applications of the Alcat Test. Jamie explains how chronic activation of the innate immune system and intestinal barrier disruption leads to inflammation and complex chronic disease and how identifying the innate immune response to specific foods and incorporating an individualized Alcat directed eating plan, can help break the cycle of inflammation and create better outcomes for our patients. Differentiations of the innate and the adaptive immune systems (including IgG testing) and the recently published (BMJ Gastroenterology) research conducted by The Yale School of Medicine, are also discussed.
